The Quincy

Rainey Street District continues to evolve from the place to go for nightlife to an increasingly more liveable street. This mixed-use development, called The Quincy, will feature three floors of office space, 19 floors of apartments and retail space with below-ground parking. 

Location: Between Driskill Street and Davis Street

Block 185

Situated in the booming 2ND Street District near the architectural masterpiece that is the Austin Public Library, Block 185 will certainly be deemed another iconic building upon its completion. With a distinct shape channeling the design of a sailboat, the western side of the building will serve as a self-shading device to shield from afternoon sun.

405 Colorado

Deeming themselves a “new Austin icon”, 405 Colorado features an incredible design that will tower above the streets of Downtown Austin. The office building will be complete with cell boosters, a sky lounge cafe, locker rooms, bike lockers and even concierge services.

6th X Guadalupe

The Independent currently holds the title of the tallest building in Austin, but 6th X Guadalupe plans on surpassing its height.

Hotel Zaza Austin 

The funky Hotel ZaZa Austin will offer everything from their famed Magnificent Seven Suites and Concept Suites to an intricate speakeasy-style bar and enchanting hotel restaurant. 

Location: 401 Guadalupe St

Type: Hotel + Residential

Height: 24 Stories

Completion: Fall/Winter 2019

305 South Congress

The 19-acre Austin American-Statesman lot is one of the largest infill projects to sit on the outskirts of downtown. The lot will be revamped into a mixed-use development including offices, homes, shops, trails, parks and potentially a new hotel.

Indeed Tower (Formerly Block 71) 

This exciting development is one to follow, as it promises to bring new architectural design to the block of historic Claudia Taylor Johnson Hall and transforms the area into a “private urban oasis.” The space will also feature a water wall, three areas of outdoor seating, retail space and an indoor food hall and market.
